I have been a teaching artist for over eight years, working with students from kindergarten through college both in and outside of public schools. I see theatre as an avenue for students to learn about themselves and the world around themselves through an artistic lens.

My teaching philosophy focuses on students developing their own autonomy and creative skills, expanding their critical thinking skills, and prioritizing multidisciplinary artistry. ​My classroom is student-centered, adapting to each learner’s needs, interests, and goals. I encourage self-advocacy, critical thinking, and meaningful dialogue, helping students engage with diverse perspectives and better understand the world around them.​

 

As a multidisciplinary artist, I value versatility and creative exploration. I strive to help students develop a broad range of artistic and transferable skills, fostering creativity, adaptability, and confidence both within and beyond theatre.

Above all, my goal is to support students in finding their own path while cultivating a classroom where creativity, open-mindedness, and personal expression are celebrated. I aim to help students grow into confident, compassionate, and resilient individuals prepared to thrive in whatever comes next.
